Shame it'll only do it for a few weeks before needing serious maintenance work! LOL!

Sorry, my inlaws have a Citroen and have had nothing but trouble with it. They're impression is, "cheap to buy" but "costly in the long run".

I test drove a C3 a few years ago.....then went and test drove a Clio and realised how dull and boring the C3 was!! I felt like I aged ten years just getting into the thing it felt so middle aged and strait laced!

I guess the VTR would be a little bit more fun though....:naughty:

Def more fun then my focus diesel estate, although I think the focus is faster. C3 feels fast coz its little. You do have to bounce it off the rev limiter though

Thats in the rules for hire cars isn't it :rules:

Too true, its in the driver agreement that you sign, I quote: I the undersigned promise to drive this hire car to within an inch of its life........:D
Thats not good, no 4 x 4 in the micra either so don't get stuck on any speed humps

I'll be approaching any speed bumps at speed, to ensure that I clear them :D

Courtesy cars are always a problem. The last time I needed one, I was due to pick up the outlaws from Manchester Airport and the company fixing my Mondeo offered me a Micra. When I asked how I was going to get 2 people in their late 60's in the car (not ideal for a 3 door car !!) plus 2 full size cases and hand luggage, the lady said the Micra was a standard hire car.

Eventually I managed to get them upto a Renault Scenic which had 5 doors (easier for the old dears) and plenty of space in the boot.

:agree: I have to suffer with a micra, when my usual vehicle is a 2 tonne pickup. Not exactly handy for shifting all the bags of sand etc that I have to show people etc.

Who'd want to steal a Citreon? Apart from Chav's of course.
Ahh... I see your point.

last time we hired a hire car from national rentals, we booked a fiesta for 4 6ft+ lads to go halfway down the country, they gave us a chevrolet matiz.......

after leaving preston and driven (for want of a better word) like a c++t, the clutch started dying off the line from the m6 toll booth, it was jumped over very bump along leicestershire back roads and the tracking gave out when i clouted it into a raised concrete drain in a field while doing about 35mph, it was then driven up the motorway with the wheels pointing not in a straight line and given back to the hire people the next morning, there only concern was not for the acrid smell of clutch, or the wheels pointing in different directions but for the fact we;d left the parcel shelf in a mates front room.

lets face it they should have given us a fiesta...

My fiancé has a Citroen C3 pluriel thing - with the flappy paddle gearbox. It's horrid to drive, and feels like it'll roll over on corners!

However, it's very nippy - and goes for it in a straight line.

I've been told the C3 VTR is a cool little car

My friend was driving one round the 'ring a few years back and said it was a hoot...
