Hello all,
I am in the process of buying a canon 400d plus tripod and bag to stuff into it. I have pretty much decided on the bag (orion trekker ii), and to start with will just have the kit lens on the canon (18-55). My main use will be landscape/hiking, hence the tripod and decent backpack.
Trawling through some of the myriad reviews, it's hard to make up my mind - too many choices. I do quite like the idea of the Velbon Sherpa 435, it's lightweight is important when you are trekking up to the top of Helvellyn on a winter's day!
Anybody got one of these and if so, would you recommend it? How do you carry it around? Or, given my camera, do you have any other recommendations?
