I made my website using dreamweaver and Jalbum. I want to keep my intro page as the flash element took me ages to do and I really like it but I want to get a new homepage and possible a gallery page so I can link my albums to somewhere.
Would you nice people help me with some ideas what I can try, designs and making the page?
Cheers
Ross

Anyone?
Tbh Ross, though it took you ages to do it's really not very good. It takes ages to load and then it's just a slideshow. Going from that page to something 'professional' looking will just show it up. I'm trying to be honest here, not wanting to rain on your parade for the sake of it.
If you want to have a spiffy gallery of your images try one of the many gallery template packages around (something like Gallery2 http://gallery.menalto.com/ ). Apart from a gallery do you have anything else in mind for content? will it be updated often like a blog site or be more static?

Thanks Steep.
I don't plan to update it with a blog or anything as my laptop is so slow when using dreamweaver it would take me forever to do. All I want to do is have a homepage that looks nice, not tatty like it is now and I want a page I can link all my galleries to.
Re the flash on the introduction page I might use that as a button to return viewers back to the home page.
why not use a free template to make your site?
Thats what I did.... www.hawkins-photography.co.uk
Google "free website templates" will bring up a few ;)
