The Tower

Not really a landscape as such - but I travel past this construction every day on the Metro and always have wanted to go and take pictures of it.
Well the wife is away for the weekend, so (how sad am I) I go and spend some time taking pictures of it.
Unfortunately we got some pretty poor photography weather here in Helsinki today, so it didn't come out as well as I wanted. And it was -5 degrees so my fingers were not enjoying that too much.

Have tweaked a little on the lower part to bring it out more and darken the sky some...

Looks good to me.

I did a similar pic of a gas terminal on black and white film, and then used sepia toning on it. It looked really good.

This is along the Metro tracks in Helsinki, Finland.
Near a station called Kalasatama ( Fishing Harbor ).

I will try to venture out there after dark sometime - the only problem is that this in a private area, so it causes some 'entry problems'. But with a nice moon behind the tower, and few moody clouds drifting by...that might be something.

Oh, and as always - A big thanks for the comments!!

And wish me luck, I have my little exhibition starting here in Helsinki tomorrow!!!

Sorry but this doesn't do much for me.

Why: Not enough detail in the terminal, it looks a little cramped in the shot, and the large black area to the right is a little distracting.
