2 Bicycles

2 bike shots, one bmx and one trials. The noise on the BMX shot is bad, but i still kinda like it.

Nice job in some difficult light!

First one is well exposed with rider and background looking good. Only down side is that you can't work out what he is doing/ came from - so he looks a bit odd there.

Second one seems too tall with all that blank sky at the top. Crop some off so the horizon is 1/3rd up the frame and the rider 2/3rds? Shame he wasn't facing you.

Those are some really nice shots.
I'm really into mountain biking myself, but unfortunately I don't know anyone good enough to get some really fantastic pictures. :(

I like both shots, the 2nd shot is a little bit underexposed but I think with a little bit of playing about in photoshop with dodging, levels, gradients and a slightly different crop to remove most of the grain you could have a really good shot. Here's my take on it.

I really like the first one - have you tried the second one cropped as above but in BW?
