A bit of a lucky accident this one, I had a fraction of a second to catch the little chap/chapess before flying away! A little on the soft side but still nice imo.

Cheers very much, I love your dragon fly photo's (and the rest too), the only time I have ever got one was when I noticed one randomly resting in our back yard, an odd discovery since we live quite a trek form the nearest fresh water.

hmm flies aren't usually my favourite subject but I really like that - I think it's because of the vibrant purple. Very simple shot but very effective :thumbs::) and the only dragonfly shot I've got is one that was in the same condition as yours - and still I couldn't get it in focus :lol:
That works very well Tomas, have too agree its made by that purple background.

Oooooh! the purple really sets him off! Nice shot!!!!!!!
The colour makes this work very well.
