Hi,

I like the way it is framed but a rethink on the colour scheme is a must pink does not work with white. If you know a bit about CSS your front page could benefit from a simple style sheet.

The title could do with a bit more punch and bah humbug Christmas will be over in a month you are better to design with some kind of permanency in mind.

I think once I have got enough decent photographs I will have a go at a gallery site myself. I will look forward to seeing your finished article.:D

Hi yeah it looks a lot better and the photos thing was just our silly restrictions on the work pcs- which is good. However the blue text is still a little hard to read. - sorry maybe its just needs to be a bit bigger??

Main Page

A place where i show my photos

Hello, Thank you for looking at my site.

I have always wanted to make my own site, and here it is. I hope everyone likes it

I am a photographer living in Norfolk, the land of the big fields and the funny farmers. I got into photography a couple of weeks ago and i just want to get professional at it now. So here you have it, My site!

Here is a little about me

I was born in London, then i recently moved up here recentlly for a better way of life. I can't really say it was a bad idea because it is lovely up here. Mind you, when you are in the middle of nowhere with no one else to hang around with. It does get a little bit boring don't you think?
I have a passion for photography that is just too great, i love everything about it. Like i only have to travel a couple of hundred metres from some great views and lovely wildlife so i can't complain.
Well that is about it for now, i will be updating this website so Bookmark it and come back and visit us in a couple of weeks

PLEASE NOTE: All the images on this site may NOT be reproduced or downloaded in ANY way, Copying And Pasting IS NOT allowed without my permission. Please Email me if you would like to use, or download any of my pictures. Thank You

Down at the beach

My favourite area for taking photos of has probably got to be the beach, becuse it is so relaxing and calm, I love it

I love the sound of the sea crashing up on the sea wall and the sound of the air gushing past your ears.

I could sit down at the front for hours and hours just relaxing, it is soo simple!

Hope you don't mind, I've just fixed some of the text for you

Personally I'm not a fan of the blue & yellow text on the black background, but that's just me being picky :D

Also, at the top of the page, under the link "photo3" The large photo of the snowman etc has a massive grey border at the bottom  Plus the sample photos as well, which I assume you will be replacing in due course?

Sorry I've come across really picky, but I'm just trying to help :)

Hi,

I think that the text is improved but the blue against the black is hard to read. The links take a bit of finding and only show up when you hover over them. It would help if you spaced them out and underlined them.

I don't really like the text styling on the home page. The different sizes and colours don't go well together (in my aged eyes and on IE7 anyways!)

You really only need one main header type say H1 or H2, and a smaller header say H4 for the sub headings. The main text should be the same font size and preferably same or matching colours and I would keep a similar text styling across all of the pages.

I do like the way the photo gallery works though.

I hope I haven't sounded too negative and of course is only my opinion and my wife would say, 'What would he know about style anyways....."

Anyways, keep updating!

Hi Tony

Well mate your site has really developed since yesterday it looks great now, I would put a banner or a couple of graphics on there now to bring it to life, and as some one says place a mouse over action on your menu.

well done

Dave

I have had a very quick and dirty play with the html and css file. This is kinda what I am getting at:

It obviously needs sprucing up but you will probably get the idea!

Do you have an application or an interface that creates the pages then?

Sites looking much better now

On the bottom of the homepage I can see some white blocks with text hidden in them that repeat that you like being down the beach.

Another quick point, it says:

"I was born in London, then i recently moved up here recently for a better way of life. "

As a visitor to your site i'm not sure where "here" is, might be better to change it to something like:

"I was born in London, then recently moved to ***** for a better way of life.

Off topic: What tech style did you used to spin?
