Hi Everyone
I have just been trying to revamp my site today, what do you think so far, its only the basic layout, the images are just place holders, and not very good, does the image script work in all browsers? this is a inside page not the home page, just so I can see, any ideas for the colours, its for a holiday site Julie thinks they should be orangey warm colours, but I like the dark BG to make the page stand out so any suggestions please, also is it to wide for anyone using 800 x 600 res,

Hi Steep
Cheers for the reply,Yep the popups gone now never to pop up again LOL, I'll have to think of a way for mailing list subscription, and where to place it. and also forum login box needs a place.
I think its a lot better now had a quick play this morning, added google search, and changed the banner with rounded corners, also made the logo bigger, although these wont be the finished images, as I'm unsure of colours, so any ideas for colours anyone please.

Does anyone have different browsers to see if the image script works?
Dave
If you're selling holidays to joe public, your visitors don't need to know what photographic kit you used to take the shots, it just sounds nerdy to them.

Hi
We dont sell holidays, its just our own holiday photos and travelogues site, Im going to have to rethink my home page text though as you say. the ads just help pay for the site, and "our holidays LOL" ( I wish )

Ah well, the site 'looks' like you are selling holidays, perhaps you need to make the advert links clearer on there, the row of links at the top looks like a menu bar.

Hi
Thanks for the input still no ideas 4 colours though, except I do want to keep the dark page bg and the red for passion or a tone of red/orange, Julie says orange and green, happy colours.I fav bluey/lilacs and greys for a calming look, with the complimentary or adjacent colours. The google ads are placed like that as an optimization for more hits.
