What do you reckon?

I would have liked more swirl, so was cursing the decision not to take a tripod as a 1/1.3 second exposure was as slow as I could go hand held.
Great effort as handheld !!! You need to bring out the black a little more, a little mid-grey for me, but I think this could be a cracker!

I agree with Neil here, more contrast and extremes of levels would improve this no end. I see you have ticked the edit box, so here's my bash...

Whoa! Yes that looks awfully grey on my uncalibrated monitor here at work!

That's more like it looks on my calibrated monitor.
I set my CRT to 6500K to be closest to natural daylight. Otherwise my printer and display never match. Most monitors are set to default to about 9300K for the garish output that gamers like. (and to make them wear out quicker, but that might just be the cynic in me talking).
Perhaps I should make all of my web copies at 9300k.

I cheated of course, I turned on "SooooperSteadyShot". ;)
The amended version is much better - I really like this soooopersteadyshot, you even get away with the horizon being mid shot. Very nice effort.
