New to the forums, so I thought I'd share a photo. Nothing special, but means a lot to me because it is a shot of my daughter. It's a little abstractish I guess, but I liked the outcome. All C&C welcome. :)

Welcome

i like the way the colours reflect in your daughters eye. however personly i feel there is too much white.

I like the VERY high-key toned effect.

For me though it is too tall. I would have liked to see the crop just above the ear, putting the eye on the lower third line.

I can see the merits of the shot and conversion, but it doesnt do anything for me. Thats art for you.

Hi and Welcome to TP

I like that but agree with Chillimonster about cropping some of the top off.

Very "Venture" :)

A bit too white for my liking though, but I love the reflection in her eye :)

Thanks for all the comments guys. :)

The whiteness seems a bit more harsh on here with the smaller border. With a full matte and frame, it looks better and not nearly as bright.

The crop I played with a LOT. lol. Again, I think if I would have posted a smaller version (I have to scroll to see the entire thing on my screen) I don't think it would have seemed so "tall".

But with the suggestions here, I will definitely play with the crop and color some more. Thanks again!
