I like how you captured the emotion of this man, but the background is distracting for me - I can't even tell what it is in the bg.

i think there's some good emotion there, but it doesn't really say why; it almost looks like a picture of someone who's just looking at the computer. It's a very close portrait and gives no indication of what's there or lead in to why he's feeling like that. I suppose i'm trying to say it's a little bit betwix and between. There's no sense of environment though there looks like there should be. Great charachter in his face though!
