Hi peeps!
Took some shots of my son to get framed and give to the grandparents for crimbo, finding it hard to choose. Any opinions would be great?

hi there would it be possible to put up a colour version of the 1st.. sorry to be picky but at the moment thats the one id pick but i would like it in colour..

The first one for me. The others seem sort of awkward the way he is lifting his head up.
Like the colouring of No.1 too.

While I know the grandparents will love ANY of them, I personally like #1 the best. Good looking kid. :)

Tiger is a distraction to an otherwise lovely baby shot
I do think there's too much wasted space and unnecessary image here, so I hope you don't mind but I had a play with a crop, then used some of the image's colours to add a sympathetic border
She'll love it whatever you do - so it's a winner

This one works the best for me.

The blanket in the foreground takes up too much space for me in the portrait shots but in this one, it fits better (to me).
Also, I think he's just soooo damn cute and this where he looks cutest.
Reminds me of a baby Macualy Culkin ... ooh Ive gone all broody!!!
EDIT: Like DD's version above.

Soz, but hugely disagree - the connection with the child isn't as good, Tiger is OoF and far too distracting, and the OoF blanket is still annoying too
Keep it simple, IMO, 1 is a good simple head-shot whether in colour or a toned BW

Thanks DD that is a nice alternative crop, will send a various few of the same shot to photobox now and see how they look printed.
Cheers for the kind comments InaGlow.

I see you point.
Im probably thinking as a mother here and not a photographer ... still makes me go 'awww!' the most :p

You are forgiven :lol::lol::lol:
It is dam cute though, for the record anyone... Pooh works better on kiddie shots as he's less contrasty
And we all know kids like Poo :gag:
I also like the first and last best. Either would work very well.
1st shot all the way for me too, very cute kid & some very well captured portraits
