Here's a few I've taken over the past 3 months since getting my first DSLR camera.

And one I always liked from my old camera

Like the sunset! (or is it sunrise?) :)

Thanks, chaps:)

Like the sunset! (or is it sunrise?) :)
It was sunset, had to abandon making tea and shoot up the hill to catch it before it set completely. I'm sure it sets quicker when you're trying to take a photo!:p

3 and 6 are my favs but they are all very good. What DSLR have you got?

Photos 1 to 5 were all taken with my Nikon D80 with the 18-200 VR lens (I think the birds were with the Sigma 50-500 lens)

Number 6 was with my Fuji S9500. It was a good stepping stone to getting a SLR camera - I just found it to be too slow to focus for some of what I wanted to do and maybe a bit soft on the images. I do miss it for it's macro work though.

Thanks again,
John

No 6 is the winner for me- and goes to show it's not necessarilly the gear you have but the being in the right place at the right time and making the right composition that gives a good photo.

I love the sunset.
With the birds, I think they need to either be sillouetted, or slightly brighter, to me it just looks a bit wrong as it is exposure wise. I do like the poses they have, the composition and the limited DoF.

3, 5 an 6 are the best (imho) in a very good set! Great stuff!
