York railway museum [Archive]

Just wondered if anyone from here was at the york railway museum on tuesday?

There was a guy there taking pics of the bullet train with a medium format and a load of other people!

Just curious!

I was there 2 weeks ago, if its the same guy he's doing promo work for the museum, to encourage children to visit. I got talking to him as you do.

ahhh...

I'm no railway buff but there are some cool things in that place.

The big black steam engine from japan is massive! also, the cut out steam engine in quite interesting

I'm not a train-spotter, but I really enjoyed going there as I've never been before, yes that loco from japan was MASSIVE :eek:

Worth a day out in anyones book, plus you got the Yorkshire 'Eye' to go on aswell.

didnt go up in the eye, the mrs wasnt to keen!

Although i did get her to the top of york minster!
