thanks mate...yes vignette is a real divider, for me it tightened the focus on the primary elements.

Very nice, thought provoking shot but I do think that the vignetting border is a little heavy for this shot imo. Very nice shot :thumbs:

I took another look at this and can't help but think that maybe cloning out everything along the skyline except the sailboat would maybe make it a bit better?

I wanted those elements in to show the variety of waterlife but I do see where you're coming from in simplifying the composition.
