Thanks all, overall, im impressed with the Sigma, it was deffo the best of the bunch i had in mind,Its super sharp at pretty much every F stop and really looks and feels the business! it just seems to lack the "character" that my nifty fifty has!
Ive really got the bug for street candids now, im going to go off on another wander this weekend and see what i can find!

Funny you should say that, as i had set the D80 to "vibrant"

I like all of these except the first one: Whilst the books in the foreground are beautiful and sharp, with good colour rendition, the eye is constantly pulled forward to the out of focus guy in the middle. Just an observation!

Thats pretty much what i was looking to do, i wanted the eyes to be drawn to the books at the front first and then to be lead towards the rear, it is a shame the guy in the middle back wasnt looking at a book or doing something interesting though!
