I can't access some of the images. Such as the 'new posts' icon on the forum main page, some of the images in the 'Mugshots' thread, as well as some of the images in some of the galleries.
Any ideas why?
Dunno.... try clearing out your browser cache.
Other than that, you got a firewall thats blocking stuff?
All seems to be working ok here....
There is currently a transatlantic problem.
I'm not sure if it's specific to Pipex, but it's definately affecting alot of Pipex users.
It apparently looks like a DNS issue but it isn't.
I've changed mt MTU settings for my adapter back down to 1430 and it seems to have helped.
Failing that, I would sit tight and wait for the morning mate, when I'm sure it will be resolved.
You're not on Pipex are you (I checked your IP), so I can only assume it's not a Pipex specific problem.

Marcel, thanks for looking into this. And no, I'm not on Pipex. I'm an NTL victim, I'm afraid! :)
The site is fine at work this morning, but at home last night it was behaving as described. Will try from home again later. The annoying thing is that two of the icons that were missing were the blue and red camera icons on the forum listing that indicate whether or not there are new posts...
NTL put all web browsing through transparent proxy caches. Some don't work as well as others. I have had problems and changed proxy - which speeded up browsing and cured other problems.
Only takes seconds and easy to undo.
Details on how to here (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/robin.d.h.walker/cmtips/trancache.html)
There is a big green background (well to my colour challenged eyes anyway) section with all the cache addresses. Just pick one at random and see if it is better or worse. My default one is behaving at present but I have used a Guilford one before with success.
Sometimes the cache will catch you out and give you its stored copy of a web page instead of the current one....very annoying.
