I've got one of those tripods at work. I find it really smooth but then again it's only used for the video cameras though. Never really had a shot with a dSLR attached to it. The only thing it's lacking is a tilting head.

The one in the photo defo has a tilting head.

yep its got a pan/tilt head, unless he means horizontal tilt to allow the camera to be portrait

They have very similar ones to that in Currys for £14.99. With tilting head and spirit level

yeh i had a look at it. Wasn't quite heavy enough for what i wanted....Wanted one that didn't get blown away when i used it
