I'm new to the forums - recommended to them by my old buddy DJW.

Been into photography a while - first proper camera was a brand new Praktica MTL3 - so, yes, quite a while. That made way for an OM1n (which I wish I'd kept), then a Minolta X700 (which was lovely) and then a Nikon F50, then an F90X (which I traded in for the a D70).

Now mainly digital (D70, Canon A70) but still have a Contax T2 which I can't bring myself to ebay.

Have a few lenses for the D70; 18-70, 50mmF1.4 AFD, 24mm F2.8 AFD and the obligatory Sigma 70-300 APO.

I also rather like hifi (have a half decent system) and like spending money on expensive guitars (and watches).

So - hello to you all anyway.

Well I've posted a pic of my latest guitar - and a mugshot with a twist.

And 'twas a mandolin I was playing last weekend - not a guitar - somewhat smaller and trickier to play :p
