Picture number 2 for me, think the B&W conversion really suits the picturem only thing I would say is that the bonet is a tad bright.

I really like the conversion - a light car in dark surroundings is cool. Angle, focal length and the car's attitude do the car justice.
I also like the choice of backdrop, although I'm not sure if there's a better way to compose it? It just doesn't really feel 'complete' as a whole shot to me.
Both work for me, but the 2nd is better I think.
As CTR_Chris says the bonnet is a little bright in the 2nd, but its not too much of a problem. :)
I'm not 100% on the first one
I really like the angle in second

Oh goodo the mini's safe after all!
#1 isn't strong compositionally as the well shot mini is placed badly in relation to the background
#2 is really good, fun & interesting
Quick query... did you buy your mini a Christmas present?

#2 for me. May have been even better with a slightly wider angle, closer to the car but angled upwards more to get the full archway into the background.

No 2 for me, great shot, love the contrast!

Not as such...
But I'm taking him down to Ace Cafe on Saturday, for a special night out! :p
Thank you for the replies guys!! I'm completely with you on the first image!! I've looked at it again and I don't particularly like it anymore!
The second though, I agree with the suggestion about getting the whole arch in!! I'll go back and try that shot again!!
Thank you!! :D
