Hi all, I took this pic the other evening after I spotted it on a bunch of flowers that had been bought for us. It was taken with a 150mm Sigma Macro lense bolted to a D200. The question is what bug is it?? Pluss any C+C is always welcome.

I believe it is a type of Shield bug (or stink bug!)

Well done. Yep - it's a Leaf Shield Bug and they come in many varieties and colours.

You did good to get that close to a Froghoppper. Whenever I've tried they always dissappear at the point that I press the shutter, and normally end up in my hair:lol:
