As someone who's boys were once small... I know that 6:30am in the morning is quite a busy time for us parents!!! (even though mine were usually up anywhere from 4:00!)

However, now they are 19 & 17 they dont get up till nearer 12 noon!!!!

All works great.
Got a bunch of Eneloop batteries before Christmas, but I haven't tried them out yet.

We broke with tradition this year and opened our presents on Christmas eve, worked out well as it left the place nice and tidy for today and we could concentrate on the meal.
Among the more traditional gifts we received a few for charity , goats, wells, and donations to our local hospice.

Our toikey was cooked in a white wine and stock mixture (part steam , part roasted), so the gravy is full of wine, hehe
