What lens did you use and were you on the ground?

All shot from the ground, the sunny weather ones were taken with 100-400L and the others a Sigma 120-300mm (usually with a 1.4x TC) the last one was the 70-200L

120 - 300 coupled with a 1.4 TC = 168 - 420???

What F number did you use?
