Necklace

Was messing around yesterday and took this...looked at it today and quite liked it, just wanted some opinions.
its been cropped and sharpened but nothing else as i dont have photoshop elements installed yet.
any c+c most welcome :D thanks!

Perhaps something like this, I've removed the skin and hair detail in front of the necklace.

Ooh thats much better, thanks! was that done using photoshop? are things like that quite easy to do?

I did it in photoshop elements 5. I used a lasso tool to select the area, create a new layer and then chose a guasian blur filter until it looked right.

God that sounds scarily technical! lol i cant even cope with the camera properly yet, let alone software :P looks like a weekend of more reading is in order...
