Well, Here it is.
I finally managed to spend some quality time with my K10D this morning. I plan to go out and about tomorrow but for now here's a shot straight from the Bedroom Window...as always comments welcome :)

Looks like a nice image although the sky could have been more dramatic given that most of the image is devoted to it.
Did you convert to B&W in post or is this straight off the camera?
Oh and please size your images to no bigger than 800 px on the long side... i.e. in 2/3 proportions it should be 800 x 533.
And welcome to TPF by the way:thumbs:

It was more a shot just to see what the camera was capable off. I hope to capture much more dramatic shots of the sky with better planned outings (I live in Norfolk and one thing we do have is fantastic skies)
Mono Conversion was done post processing in Paint Shop Pro X2.
Sorry about the picture size and mental note has been made for next time...
Cheers,

Don't know paint shop pro at all but if you can mix rgb channels seperately try it and give some preference to red and see what it does to blue skies in b&w.
Cheers M8!
Like it - a good start
The right and left aerials are very nicely installed :)

That's exactly what I did
...in fact there's quite a hefty preference to the Red Channel

I like the shot a lot actually. Wondering if the house with the aerial on the left is getting a good picture though, since his aerial is pointing in a different direction to everyone else's? :-)
