Just a quick question if I may :D

I recently got CS2, downloaded the plug-in for my D40 and hey presto, everything is fine. Recently my brother in law bought a D40x, he also uses CS2. Now the problem is getting the correct plug in for the D40x to be compatible with CS2.

I have spent ages on the adobe site, and would I be right in saying that the D40x plugin (i think its camera raw 4.1) is only compatible with CS3 and not CS2? Is there any way to get it to work with CS2?

Thanking you!

Unfortunately not, Adobe will not support the newer Camera Raw in CS2 :(

Sorry one last quick one, I take it that anything camera raw 4.0 or higher wont work with CS2?

I'm just going out so I don't have time to browse this site for you, have a look here ---> http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=39&platform=Windows

Thats correct i believe.

And yes the Adobe site can be more complicated than congestion charging or filling in a self assessment tax form ;) lol

You could download the latest version of the Adobe DNG converter.( Free) . Convert the files to .dng, and then process them in CS2
