Hi

Now that christmas is overi can expand my camera equipment. I want to get the nikon 50mm F1.8 as everyone raves about them so much and having taking a lot of indoor pics over the last week i could really use a low light lens.

Any way. I have found a couple of on amazon at different prices but i cannot see any difference. Can someone shed some light please.

My camera is a D40x

they are the same lens.

although, like me you have a D40X so the AF you linked to will NOT autofocus anyway, so you might as well go for some older glass. You can pick up older Nikkor 50mm AIS lenses for half that price (and many consider them to be just as good if not sharper than the AF lenses)

Ok links work now...the price difference is I guess down to the two different sellers of the lens....might also be worth sending a pm to Kerso if you want this particular lens.
