Hi all,

This may go in my recently posted 'Scottish Highlands' thread depending on what people think of my efforts. It took me a while to get this as i just had to use layers.

(I know it is totally overcooked but i am a bit of a sucker for overcooked HDR's)

C&C Most definately welcome

from an untrained eye it doesn't look overcooked to me. I like it. The HDR has helped to bring out what must have been a really dark dank image?!

Yeah, works for me too. Doesn't scream HDR, although the clump of stuff mid-right looks a little odd. Nice composition too, methinks.

Awesome, a great moody shot. The HDR is well done too, not overdone at all. Good job! :)

Oh I like that...I like that a lot:thumbs: The sky has a real sense of foreboding about it.

David,

I think you've done a fabulous location justice! :D

As others have said it doesn't look over-cooked to me at all, in fact - I think HDR has enabled you to get a good even exposure of what is a top-notch composition!

Thanks for sharing :)

fantastic shot! the foreground and the hills in the background are perfect, super sharp! the clouds are good but a bit over powering slightly with the dark areas to the right and the bright parts to the left i think it just doesn't look right. A bit of dodging and burning could sort this out. Nice effort!

Glenn Coe is a great place, did you stop for a quick pint in the www.clachaig.com ? I have been up there a few times and we stay just next door to the pub. They have some great live music on.

It just adds to the atmosphere in my opinion.

Really liking this processing, very moody landscape and sky

The white buildings/vehicles (whatever they are) near the road are slightly distracting though in my own opinion, and could be cloned out.
