Well, here they be.
These are all just as they went out to the Press - no fancy processing, just Levels adjustment, sharpened and cropped.
Some of the faces of the Iraqi servicemen have been deliberately blurred for security reasons - they risk their lives and those of their families just being in the Army

Sorry mate couldn't help it :D

Serious hat on though. Rob, how does it feel to know you're documenting such a pivotal point in civilised history?
I mean, you're in quite a unique position, and able to get alot of shots, that no one else is going to be able to get, so no doubt alot of your images are going to be carried through time as documentation of this time.....

Oooh I feel like Trevor McDonald....lol

oh I forgot - I'm home now.
How bl00dy cold is it here!!!!

Pretty cool actually - my stuff goes into the National Archive at the Imperial War Museum, so no pressure there then!

we had some success, especially with the ambassador and senator's shots going in the US dailies
Washington Post and NY Times both ran them

I know it's your profession, Rob, but you must feel at least a little proud. Great images.

Mate, if I don't get anything published from a trip, I'm like a 5-year-old kid who's had his sweeties nicked.
Yes, it validates my existence, so to speak, in an industry where the benchmark of success isn't how good your images are, but how marketable.
