Aust Wharf (near the Severn Bridges) Owls and Merlin

Hi I'm not sure if this gem of information has been passed on or not:thinking: BUT at Aust Wharf which is between the 2 Severn Bridges Owls and a Merlin can be seen quite frequently, I visited on Sunday mid morning stayed for about 40 miniutes and got some very acceptable images of the Merlin:clap:

You'll need a long lens, I was using 500mm with a 2x extender on and on a 20d body I was amazed at the clarity of the captures.

My guess is the owls will be dawn or dusk hunters so I'll be back this Friday sometime, anyone needs more info let me know, but it's an easy find:thumbs:

For some reason I'm having problems posting images on any of the forums I visit, I believe this may be down to some sort of ''censorship'' because of where I work:rules: I have tried but I''ll have to do it from :thumbs:
