Ok, so what do you think? Be honest (it is the only way I can improve).

I know I used my EOS300D for this with a Cosina Macro lens, but I can remember all the settings (the original with all the info is in a disk somewhere).

I am thinkig that maybe it coud be a bit sharper (maybe I should have used a tripod?).

It's certainly not as sharp as it could be but I don't personally find that a problem at all.

It has a lovely painted quality and a little softness suits that well. The strengths of this shot are in the shapes, textures, colours and the soft flattering light.

I think I am certainlly starting toget there with seeing the shot I want to get. And I am getting the image I want in a pic. It just seems I need to more work ont the tecnical parts, like getting focus spot of and getting to grips with my speed and apature.

I also agree with Dazza & LP's feedback.
Whilst we for the most part strive for sharp images, there are still times when a softer look is the way to go, and I think it works very well here.
I love the dof, the colours, everything. :thumbs:
