One of my favs. Dunnock(Prunella modularis) or hedge Sparrow I prefer

But anyway ... :suspect: ... it is a lovely little bird and this is a very nice capture in natural surroundings although it looks a tad over-sharpened possibly ... :thinking:

they are nice little fellows.
not a bad shot, a small shame about the missing tail, but hey...
(TIP: you need to do what CT does - cover yourself in glue, roll in the leaves and hide in the undergrowth)

Good capture. Dunnocks are one of those birds that seem to on the ground more than perching anywhere photogenic.

It's a nice shot although I do find the clump of leaves on the bottom left quite distracting.

Thanks for comments, take on board the sharpening,sharpened once because of the very poor light, taken in heavy rain at about 20feet.
