Hi

This photo is of the lovely Elle, she is a full time professional model.

Mods/Admins - I put this in this section as I didn;t feel it met the nude/glamour criteria. If this is wrong please move.

Well Rob, it's a good shot. The lighting has been well controlled, it's bang on for focus, exposure and all that stuff. The eye contact is great and the model, who as you say you've made look very lovely, is working well.

but.... I think that you could get more sizzle somehow. It looks like it's been shot by someone at home working models and running a studio. IIRC, you've not been shooting these for all that long but you seem at home so it's time to step it up again. :D

Thanks for your comments Daz, any advice or pointers on how to get that extra sizzle? this was one of my first none glamour pic that I have done, and I must admit I did enjoy it.

Well I've had a good look at the shot, a tough job obviously but hey....... ;)

Perhaps you could have been a little more daring with the light. Gone for a bit more drama and bite. Also, it's far too vibrant a look there to have a grey BG.

It looks to me like you've learnt the rules of studio craft, now it's time to rip them up and be daring. :)

I read somewhere today that to break the rules of photography first you have to understand them, and with your encouragement I think its time to give these things a go. Shame the studio session didn't work out, I think i would of enjoyed working with you in a studio.

Thanks for your comments and encouragement.

Shame the studio session didn't work out

Well it didn't work out for that date. I'd still like to get some folks from here together for a day of shots and laughs.

Speaking of which.... has anyone heard anything of John, theMusicMan? I did send him a mail the other day but I've not heard back.
