Theres a section in the photo sharing bit for various subjects, but not for architecture.
I reckon its one of the most photographed things, any chance of a dedicated section within photo sharing ??

I have got to agree with BB on this one, surprised no one from admin. has responded, perhaps they are waiting to see what support the request gets from other members.
Anyway you have mine:)
There is no product/still life, either.
Architecture is specific but its like many things, could go in landscape/scenery or general.
Theres no photojourn, so its peeps & portraits
There isn't even a discussive film thread
Motorsports should be in sports, transport...god I dunno, funny one that
ahh...but sports is photojourn, and if your shooting drivers racing double deckers, that could go in photojourn/transport/sport/motorsport and if they race topless with goldfish swimming in their helmets....:bonk:
err anyway, I vote for architecture, but only on film:D
all I'm saying is, somebody has to draw a stop line somewhere, architecture didn't make it, but neither did a few others.
I back architecture btw, for what its worth
Will flag it in staff though to be honest, Ive never understood why peeps dont post the architecture shots in 'Landscape & Scenery'.
To me its still scenery ... just urban scenery! ;)
It's flagged up in the staff room for discussion now :)
To be honest though, the subforums weren't created to become specialised areas, they were created because General Photo Sharing was getting too busy.
So we split the most common ones into their own forums, as those styles had grown to big for General.
In all honesty, I don't think architecture is a popular enough subject to warrant its own forum. Not *that* many have been posted recently I don't think :)
Land/Cityscapes + Scenery? I guess there isn't a need for photo-journalism because not a lot of people do that here.
I think street is photojourn, but it fits with portraits & people maybe, dunno..
The "general" sub-forum will always be packed out no matter how many specialized subs there are.
Its an easy post, less formal than the others and impossible to get wrong if your a new starter, and guarenteed maximum exposure, if your stuff says on page 1 for more than half an hour.
If there is an intention to spread things out a bit amongst the other subs, there is a case for losing general, peeps would have to post in the correct sub....if there is one.
