I've had next to no time recently to get out & about with my camera due to work commitments  so thought I'd go back through my images & delete some of the surplus ones (of which there are far far too many ) Almost deleted these two for various reasons but decided to post process them & see what people thought of them & if they would pick up on the faults in the images too - does good to keep my eye in & remain critical whilst not being able to get out (if that makes any sense at all ) Was interested to see if anyone picked up on anything I'd missed too.

Honest C&C is welcome & appreciated as usual

Shame! Two crackers both spoiled by unwanted other figures. That first one is a particular shame Mike. :'(

Wow, they're both great shots! I love the PP, how do you do it? I've been trying to get a look like that but I just can't!

I really like the first one, very beautiful. I find the second one a bit odd, she looks as though she might fall over, is it on a bit of a slant? or maybe it is supposed to be? Still a cracking candid though. I can never pluck up the courage to shooot in the street. :)

On the first one cant you 'smudge' the person in white out a bit to take them out as a distraction?

Cheers for the feedback Kyle, f.box & Sheep
I'll try 'smudging' out the person in the 1st shot but I think that because he/she is wearing such a vivid white top that it may look a bit odd tbh - makes the lady in the foreground look very 3D at the moment but that effect may disappear if the definition is removed?
Something to bear in mind though, cheers

I do like the first shot more than the second and i definately agree its pitty about the person in the white hoodie (always watch out for a hooodie when you are out with your camera :D). The only other thing that I want in that photo is eye contact - OK that might it from a candid to a portrait but it definately would have been a good one.

I think what makes it really good is the OOF background - I would guess this is photoshop enhanced blur rather than coming solely from DoF; am I right? I did try looking at exif to make a guess myself but it doesn't have any embedded.
