Caught these two at the back of the pub while i was taking a breather from shooting a band, post processed in lightroom using some of the new filters.
might have over done it, comments please.

Oh I say, his teeth need some Colgate pretty sharpish. His face is a bit hot in places, mainly on his cheek, but you have caught a real character in her, it's a shame you didnt have some of her exclusively. There is always something fascinating about seeing the faces of women who are drunk, their eyes look like madness. Well caught, next time you need to take a bit more control of your exposure.
I like this, but agree that it looks a bit over processed. Have you cropped it much? I think its a little tight. I reckon it would work well in mono. Personally i think it would lose something without the guy in it. They obviously have a story. :)

its over processed i agree, there is no blown highlights in the original, will put up a mono when i find it, computer died recently and need to go through the back ups, but thanks for the comments, really appreciate them. Cant remember how much i cropped will find out when i find the damn original,
thanks

I think the shot looks fine as it is, it adds to the harshness of his face and she is gone gone gone!

I quite like it ... ... I think ... ... although the more I look at it the more I am drawn to his character because of the harsher lighting/processing effect ... ... not saying that is necessarily a bad thing because there is a real mad look in her eyes ... well out of it I guess ... :D

thanks, she was very out of it, just before the shot she kept spitting and swearing like a trouper! I love them, the guy told me he worked for a photographic agency, i gave him my email but they never got back to me, would love to have got them in the studio, though it may have cost me a bit in illegal substances and alcohol to get a similar effect!
