Hi,
I thought I would share a portrait that my 5 year old took on Saturday of her Grampy. I am so impressed of what she managed with the D80 considering her size and the size of the D80 with the grip and a Sigma 24-70 2.8 0n it. Anyway heres the picture, all I have done is adjusted levels and sharpened.

Just to show you one if the artist at work ( sorry for the poor image only had dads P&S available.)

I, all I know is that I am dead chuffed:)

And every right to be too !!

That is a corker !! Manual exposure too !! A real pro !!

She looks so at home with it, I can just see her mouth in the shot and you can really tell that shes concentrating !!

Give her a fairy cake for that effort !!

That is really rather good Dave ... ... I think I would be very hard pushed to take one of my Gramps as good as that ... ... (not just because he is long dead either) ...

You should encourage that skill immediately m8 ... buy her a D3 quick ... :D

She's a natural and i agree with Venomator to nurture that skill, but in a fun way

I hope my 5 year old doesnt see it otherwise she will be wanting an upgrade from her Fisher Price Jobbie !

omg:eek: That's quite some portrait, especially given the size of the camera, surprised she could hold it steady.

Thanks for all the comments, she was really surprised that I posted one of her pictures:)

MMCP42 thanks for pointing out the picture quality point, my argument is that she was using the elinchrom lights and I only had the built in flash:lol:

 What a lovely photo! It's great to see the youngsters learning how to handle cameras, my youngest son took This (http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=44714) photo of his mother with a Canon Ixus 60 recently, he knows more about my camera than me!
