I am looking for a photograph (single adult or more) to use to demonstrate how a standard image can be turned into a stunning wall portrait by some retouching. The photograph should be sharp and appealing. The kind of image I’m looking for is one that has the “Wow Factor”!

If anyone would like to offer a photograph, please would you reply on this forum. I’ll choose the one that I think is most suitable and give you a free mounted wall portrait (A3 on gator) – titled in the way you want - of the chosen photograph.

You will retain the copyright of your photograph. Good luck – you’ve all got an equal chance as it’s not good looks that will win it!:clap:

Not that I could help you, my portraits are all stunning out of the camera. ;) :D

How do you plan to demonstrate the retouching Henry?

Can I just ask what is this for? Is it a commercial venture of any kind? It's normally polite to contact the forum owners before approaching our members you see, and new members asking for things like this, in this manner, always raises everyone's suspicions.

I agree, in spirit :p I try and get my portraits right in camera then convert to b&w. People don't need photoshopping for hours!

I believe and understand this is a forum for people who take photographs for sharing, to help and be helped............rather than one that is out to achieve individual acknowledgement!

Why can't you take some shots of a static object (before and after retouching) to demonstrate your talents and post [Matt]; before requesting individuals!

Awww! I saw the title and I thought it was a challenge for US to come up with a stunning portrait...
not for us to take a snap and then YOU take up your own challenge & make the image stunning :thinking:

I may be a little thick ... :suspect: ... but are you not capable of taking your own portrait photograph to experiment with ... :shrug: ... or is it the fact you can't do "Wow Factor" ... :thinking:
