Went for a stroll round Sefton Park the other day, caught a few good shots and thought I'd share em :

Interesting angle with the first shot. I think it works well in mono. The wispy sky compliments it nicely.

The squirrel is a great capture and nicely framed. Not sure if you've missed the focus or somethings gone funny with the sharpening/compresion but the overall pic doesn't quite look right to me. It could just be my eyes though.

on the squirrel it looks like band of light behind squirrel has been dodged in photoshop & is pulling eye away from the main subject the squirrel. might be my imagination but looks like focus piont was tail

Thanks, I just figured a photo of a statue would be a bit boring, so thought I'd try a different angle.

The band of light is just paler grass, hadn't even noticed it until you said.. Dont know what it is with squirrels, but they're a bugger to get in (auto):whistling:focus. I always end up having to use the sharpening tool.....
