Red for dead

Wandering through a very old graveyard I came across this grave which looked so uncared for apart from the red flowers placed on top. Had a try at B&W conversion with selective colouring to highlight my thoughts on it's sad, solitary state!

It's a little too brightly coloured I think for the mood of the photo, try desaturating the flowers just a tiny bit...

:agree: ... and while you are at it you might try and add some contrast to the B & W range as it looks a little ... :thinking: ... flat ... :shrug:

Great concept and just needs a little tweaking to improve ... ;)

Nice idea, I like selective colouring in photos - although I think it may have worked better if the sky wasn't so bright and so prominent in the photo.

As above, slightly higher angle to reduce the skies prominence.
