Dazza the numpty goes for a walk
Dazza the numpty slips on the chalk
Down goes the numpty, it a great sprawl
Thanks little 5D..... for breaking my fall

Yup, wrong boots, wrong mud. Slid really fast and I tried to twist round and get myself between the camera and the mud but it didn't happen. So I ended up mud covered from foot, all the way up my right side and along my arm out to the camera. Still there seemed little point in getting all filthy for nothing and the camera didn't seem to mind it's camoflage too much. :)

I wiped as much as I could off on my jeans and carried on. I might give the wee beastie a little more attention later on. ;)

The camera must have gone in lens first I guess, before landing top side down as there was a nice mud coating all round the inside and outside of the hood covering about the 1st inch and a half. If I was a filter rather than a hood user, things could well be more of a mess.

Thats a nice'ole knotty tangle of branches, I like the sweep of it.
Is there a bit of flash in there, or was it like that ?

One of my US mates was over here last year on a shoot, got some mud down the selection dial of his 5D, was exceptionally irrate, didn't take it half aswell as you are..

I wasn't even shooting, just walking. Or trying too. :shake:

I'm sure the camera will be just fine. I like them to have a bit of a lived in look.

No flash there Joxby but the question does tell me I've kinda got what I wanted. A graphic look without too much sense of scale. That's quite a large area there, about 30 or more feet off the ground and several trees worth of branches. It's shot with a 150 lens so there is a little compression there too.

Yeah I like this this very much, the red with the blue of the sky is just lovely...but mostly because of the 3d I feel from it. Now I know that longer lenses tend to flatten the image but some of those branches really seem to protrude out the pic.

Don't feel victimised, she probably enforces that rule for all the men that turn up.
