i like that, fantastic effect, if i was to be picky i would have liked to see both eyes highlighted though, windows of the sole and all that

Thats one to hang on the wall

I'd agree with Matty about the catchlight in the other eye, but that might make it look un natural.

Agreed. If I'm going to be picky I might clone out the mole/mark above her eye. Nice one.

I know what you mean, I have this shot in colour too, I'll see if I can upload it and show it on here....I liked the different look of this shot, you will get to know my work, I like something a bit different and not always perfect ;)

People who know me here, will confirm that I can be a negative old sod at times.

However, this is one of the best pictures I've seen in a long time here. Do NOTHING to this picture. Its perfect as is.

I'd hang this on my wall.

I'm not sure. The focus on the eye's is beautiful but the hand really distracts me. Having said that I'm crap at people so it's probably just me ;)

The oof hand doesn't bother me, but I'd so like to see a little more detail in that left eye. It's not there to be extracted though - I just tried. If the original is RAW then it might be possible, but it's a lovely natural shot as it is.

This has been edited quite a lot really, it was taken in Raw...I will have another look at the original tomorrow. Thanks for all the lovely comments....great fun!

I have to be honest, i prefer the original. When i first looked at CT's edit, I was drawn to the 'new' eye, and it looks gammy to me, ever since. I have gone away and come back to look yet I am drawn to the gammy eye :(

Love the original though Marianne :)

I too prefer the first one - looks like a Borg Implant.
Just drop a speck of white onto the existing highlight to pick it out a little.
