Jessops Adevet - Call to arms!

Jessops are currently offering the D300 for £1057 online with Voucher code WEBEX5. I called my local store and they'll match the online price and combine it with pay nowt for 12 months.

Given all the above I'm going to get one tomorrow I think, however also given the pay nowt for a year option I'm tempted to get the Nikkor 70-200 AF-S VR at the same time. Only trouble is that Jessops are way over priced for it. The lad I spoke to did say that they are doing price matching in magazines but wasn't sure whether it extended to lenses.

Can any check any photo mags they've bought recently and see which if any carry a Jassops ad with a price matching offer and let me know the title and whether it extends to lenses please?

Doies the voucer have an expiry date on it? I that that issue but I've lent it to my Father-in-Law so if not I'll retrieve it from him and see if they'll still match.

Yes 24/11/07 expires usually just before the end of the month although I did get them to match on one that only expired 3 days previously.

Hmmm, oh bugger. I might just see if they'll price match anyway seeing as I'm looking to spend >£2k with them.

At least I seem to have calmed down now though, before I was that excited I was making more typos than an epileptic typist on a rollercoaster!

No, I have the current edition and it seems that the ad has changed, no offer listed just a "Big Name" sale. Warehouse will price match Park interestingly enough seeing a WE offer 12 interest free.

Thanks Ian, I've been on to Warehouse Express and asked them to price bacth the D300 and 70-200 combined with Park Camera who are the cheapest with a discount code for both items.

Altogether including P*P and Warehouse Express's 125% of the difference, the two items total at £2110.06.

Looks like there might be a few things coming up for sale in the "For Sale" Board soon! :D
