** The TP Firefox plugin now comes in 2 different flavours **

Main Downlaod Area (http://mattwaddy.com/dev/firefox_extensions/tp-menu.php)

Main Menu Version:

This adds a new 'Talk Photography' menu to your main menu next to the 'Help' menu.

Toolbar Version:

This adds a new toolbar item. You will have to add it, using the 'Customise' toolbar option. You can then drag it to any location within your toolbar. The icon isn't the best in the world, but should do the trick.

Request:

If anyone has photoshop ability or is familar with designing icons and has the time to produce a simple but nice looking icon. If you would like to mock one up with the dimensions of 24x24 and a smaller version of 16x16 I will add that to the toolbar version. It needs to be saved as a PNG with transparency. Please post any submissions in this thread.

Feedback:

If you have time, please give me some feedback if there are any bugs with the extension. Any ways to improve it?

Like it!

I shall of course hunt you down, beat you up, and steal all your camera gear if it starts to hack me ;)

I'm afraid that is a little beyond me. But if someone else would like to undertake that side of things, I can upload the source code. Keep the feedback coming. I don't want there to be any bugs.

Glad to hear your liking it so far.... Feel free to save the file and extract it to check for hacks etc. But you won't find any. I'm not a sophisticated programmer!

Any other suggestions for it?

Very nice.
Only one question - why is it a menu item and not a toolbar item which is the standard way of doing things, and which would allow us to move it wherever we wanted?

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. This was only designed for me, as I use something similar for other forums. I thought I would offer it to other TP members on that basis really. If it's not what your after then you don't have to use it. Just thought I would share it?

Had a little time this evening to mock up a toolbar item rather than the current menu. Hopefully this will allow a few other people to use the feature also. I will post up a link later tonight or tomorrow. Does it need any other items within the menus? have I missed anything?
