does anyone use the photodeals (http://www.photodeals.co.uk/product.php?productid=126&cat=0&page=1) studio lighting kit?

I'm considering some lights and this kit doesn't look half bad, and a we bit cheaper than the elinchrom stuff

it looks like it is quite a bit bigger to me. the bag, soft box look massive and may cause you storage space(not got one btw). the heads look bigger than the d lite 4s as well. i'll have a pic of the d lites set up in my living room tomorrow for you if that helps, anything good to use as a scale for you?? the room is 4m x 4m approx in total. only got the 2 softboxes that come with them.

Fletch, that'd be great.

Re the scale bit, it should be easy to judge size by the wall height etc.

They look ok, and they take S-type modifiers which is always a good thing.

The thing that worries me about them is that they say they have overheating warning. Why would they need that unless they expect them to overheat?

The price seems ok, but that is more then I paid for my Bowens 500w two light kit (used).

Fletch, thanks for the images m8

Very don't look that big really :D

I'm not sure how the photodeal kit does with heat, the blurb says they are fan cooled.....so they shouldn't overheat
