Have just installed this to my PC to give it a go, got a 60 day trial on a cover disk.
Anyway, having never done any image processing I thought I'd have a go at taking a image of my daughter pointing at some Daisies and turn the background black and white whilst keeping her and the daisies in colour.
Now, having followed the guide on how to do this, I have found one slight problem - she has very fine curly hair, hence you can see the grass through her curls so what is the best thing to do. Do I :
* Do the selection closer to her hair so I in effect chop some of her curls off.
or
* trace round the thicker curls.
or
* is there a way of diffusing the green colour from her hair?
Like I said I am totally new to this so just wanting ides.
Is this software a good piece to use or is there anything better people would reccomend in a similar price range?
