I have a canon rebel XT EOS , im wondering if these lens's will fit before i purchase one of them at some point this month! My 15-55mm just doesn't cut it for my weather and landscape shots :bang:

CANON
1. EF100-300MM F4.5 USM
2. EF-S 55-200MM F4-5.6 IS

SIGMA
1.18-200MM F3.5-6.3 DC

Which one would you recommend for weather and landscape shots?

Also Can i still have still have manual control with these lens's the same as my canon zoom lens EF-S 18-55MM

THANKYOU!

Both Canon lenses will work no problem at all, and the Sigma will be fine as long as it's the Canon Fit version.

You'll still be able to manual focus as well as use your camera in Manual mode with all 3 lenses, because I'm not sure which you meant!

You'll have to wait for one of the landscape masters to guide you to which lens would better as I've never shot any! I'd go for the 18-200 because it's quite wide at the short end.

Canon EF-S 55-250mm f4-5.6 IS
Tamron AF 70-300mm f4-5.6 Di LD Macro 1:2

Any of these?

Let's make this easy.

A Rebel XT (which is usually known as a 350D this side of the pond) will take:
- any Canon EF lens
- any Canon EF-S lens
- any Tamron lens (Di, Di-II or whatever) with a Canon mount
- any Sigma lens (DC, DG or whatever) with a Canon mount
- any Tokina AT-X lens with a Canon mount
