Yet another example of why to shoot RAW

yes but RAW in Fuji S7000 is rediculous!

Why?
well the files are so ridiculously big they fill a card up so quickly, then they take an age to write to the card....when I tried to use RAF in my S7000 the software was useless although now I think that Raw Shooter Essentials is compatible :hand:
I get 19mb files from RAW on the D2x - that's about 50 images on a 1Gb card.
I just carry more cards (eight 4Gb cards for two cameras now) and a seperate HD to download to when they get full.
I'd rather do it that way than compromise over quality.

oh but I always use RAW now I am using my D70, couldn't go back to Jpegs, only 5mb so not so bad. I would love a D2X, a special camera!
I have a D1x for sale... only £900

Does work know? :p

ta for that, just what was needed :laugh1:
Gits...
This one's my own, bought when I was Unit phot for 2PWRR as they didn't have the budget to buy me one.
Then of course I made the switch to full-time photographer and it became redundant. It's only been used for my girlie photos in the studio.
Waste of a good camera at that price, but the 2nd-hand market is lousy with them as people upgrade.
