Postman came this morning and brought me my latest present to myself..
Total Training For Adobe Photoshop CS2
It is a 4 Disk DVD compilation which I have been watching tonight, The presenter Deke McLellan (I think thats his name) can make music with photoshop doing things I have never dreamed of. I have watched disk 1 and started disk 2 but taking all this on-board is way too much for me in one lesson.
Its a case of having the program running in the background then pausing it and trying it for yourself bit by bit..
10/10 for this fantastic DVD set...:thumb:
You omitted to tell us the price of this Total Trainind DVD set.
Stands by for another shock. :eek1:
I know it make PS that much easier to grasp.

Don't know but basic borders are pretty easy just by changing the canvas size. I think CT might have explained in another thread but to put a simple border around my images for TPF I resize the longest edge down to 790 pixels using the image, resize, image size menu. I then increase the canvas to 800 pixels and select the appropriate border colour (usually black) using image, resize, canvas size menu.
You should be able to do the same thing in several steps, with different colours, to get slightly more complicated borders.

Wow know how you must feel.....I treated myself to PSPX last month, and that has a Video Instruction on it, absolutely super I'm still wading my way through it a lot to grasp but at least I'm slowly getting to grips with it now... I'll stick with this PSPX i think PS would be just too much for me ( in money too!!:) )

how long do the lessons go on for?
My copy arrived today (obtained from E-bay), thanks Busterboy :thumb: I've only been looking at disk one up to now, There is absolutely loads of stuff on the disks, it's going to take a while to trawl through it all..... if you get bored try playing it at 4x speed :laugh1:
