When i straighten the image if its slightly off , the quality of the image gets worse... The more i straighten the more i lose the quality!

I don't use Corel but is it possible your straightening a layer and your seeing some of the layer below which will remain in position and causing it to look weird.

Is it a full size image or one that's been resized for web?

Rotating an image will reduce the quality, there's no getting around that. If you repeat the process then the quality will drop each time - if you get it wrong the first time, hit UNDO and try again.

Shooting raw and correcting at the raw processing stage is probably the best way to reduce the impact but it will still be worse that getting a shot straight out of the camera.

You could always try this free lossless rotator for jpegs (http://www.anryhome.com/software/jpeglosslessrotator/).

Hope this helps :)

D'oh!!

The only other thing I can suggest (apart from using Photoshop) is to try something like imageconverterplus (do a google search for it) and see if you get better results.

hope this helps.
